Our granddaughter had 18 sessions with Jan, to deal with confidence issues. We have been blown away by the results. She is so much more confident than when she started, much better at dealing with her feelings and any challenges that come her way. Right from the start, she was comfortable with Jan and couldn't wait to get there each week. What a blessing this has been for our family. I would absolutely recommend Jan to anyone that has a child with issues.

When I first approached Jan, I didn't really know what Play Therapy was, let alone whether it would work for my daughter. I just knew we needed some help. My daughter was experiencing difficulties managing her BIG emotions in a healthy way, leading to angry outbursts, both at home and school. In total my daughter attended 18 sessions, during her time with Jan. Her therapeutic journey with Jan's guidance has resulted in- * Increased focus * Ability to identify own emotions and communicate these effectively to others for awareness * Ability to channel emotions in a healthy, positive manner (breathing techniques, de-escalation) * fewer angry outbursts *Increased confidence and self awareness Jan provided a safe, welcoming and FUN environment for my daughter to explore her feelings in a open, creative and non judgemental way. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her experience with Jan, and still talks of her time spent with her, with love and pride. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jan to others, and will always be thankful for her efforts in empowering my daughter to be the best version of her beautiful self.
